What is self storage and how does it work?

Renting a storage unit is a great solution to clear up some much-needed space at home or to hold much needed business items. All of our storage facilities offer clean, secure storage solutions at affordable prices.

Do I need to sign a long-term lease?

No, we rent on a month-to-month basis unless the customer requests otherwise.

What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?

We require a government-issued photo ID (example: driver’s license, state ID, or passport).

How much does self storage cost?

Our rates vary between unit sizes and type of storage. For more information about our pricing, check out our locations.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Checks, money orders, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover and cash.

How do I make a payment?

You can pay in person, mail a check or money order or make a payment through our website. You may also sign up to have payments automatically deducted from your credit card/savings/checking account monthly. Kiosk available for payments 24 hours/day. All payments are final, no returns or refunds.

When can I move in?

If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, you can move in anytime during normal access hours.

What is the best way to pack a unit?

Larger and more infrequently used items should go in the back of the unit. Remember to keep a walkway in the center of your unit to more easily access items. Always keep items labeled and a list of items stored, even a photo on the outside of each box will allow you to "see" what's inside.

Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item. We also have more helpful tips to help you pack your unit like a pro.

How do I know how much storage space I will need?

You can either use our size guide on our website or call our manager for assistance.

What are some helpful tips for moving into my unit?

We pride ourselves on making things as simple as possible for our customers. For helpful tips on packing and organizing your unit, head on over to our storage tips page.

Does there have to be someone in the office to let me through the security gates?

No. At the time of signing you will be given your own security pass code that will allow you access to your unit during normal access hours.

How much notice needs to be given before I move out?

All contracts are month-to-month. However, we do require a 30-day notice before you move out.

Do you have handcarts and dollies available at your facility?

Yes. You are welcome to use our complimentary carts to move in.

Do you sell boxes and storage supplies?

Yes. We sell various moving supplies in our office.
